County Administrator and Board Chair of the Greater Monadnock Collaborative (GMC) Chris Coates served as the Emcee of the yearly Magnify Monadnock Gala.

Cheshire County served as a prime sponsor of the event to support the vital work of the GMC and more specifically the mission of the Magnify Monadnock program, “to foster economic vitality throughout the Monadnock Region by attracting the next generation of students, residents and workers who seek meaningful careers, strong communities, and an extraordinary quality of life.”

Multiple awards were given to local small businesses, non-profits, and community members. One of the awardees was former Cheshire County Commissioner Robert Englund. He was recognized for his unwavering commitment to the region through his advocacy, consistent volunteer work, and commitment to public service.
