Community Development Block Grants

The Cheshire County Commissioners will hold 2 public hearings on:

March 6, 2024 at 8:30a.m. at 12 Court Street, Keene, NH 03431 in the second-floor conference room.

The purpose of the first public hearing is to discuss and receive public comment on two microenterprise technical assistance projects currently underway. These projects are funded through a federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) awarded to the County of Cheshire and are designed to support small businesses.

The second public hearing will discuss a one-year contract extension request to the NH Community Development Finance Authority for the aforementioned microenterprise projects. The extension will provide up to $550,000 in additional funds.
