Cheshire County is seeking a qualified Superintendent for our 235-bed county jail & federal holding facility in Keene, NH.  This position is responsible for the overall management of the correctional facility, including administration services, safety & security and program support services.  Provides leadership, guidance, direction and control necessary for the smooth operation of a jail facility within accepted standards and applicable laws.

Successful candidates should have knowledge of correctional facility management and administration equivalent to completion of a bachelor’s degree and seven to ten years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience working in a union facility preferred.
