Maplewood Nursing Home is looking for a friendly, dependable team member to join our Laundry Department. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry services are completed efficiently and to a high standard, contributing to the overall well-being of our residents. You’ll ensure residents have fresh, cared-for clothing and linens while maintaining a tidy, comfortable environment that everyone can enjoy.

Shift:  Full Time – 7:00am – 3:00pm, every Saturday, Sunday and Monday

Starting pay: $16.88 with weekend differential of $1.75

This is a Baylor position of working 24 hours, being paid for 30 which qualifies for Benefits

Duties include:

• Collecting soiled linens and assisting with sorting and stain removal.

• Removing linens from dryers and sorting by resident name and/or location.

• Hanging, folding, counting, and stacking linens according to department or unit.

• Placing linens on carts and distributing to departments according to their predetermined daily needs.

• Inspecting linens for wear or setting aside for repair.
