Department of Corrections

LPN - 2nd Shift

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager and/or the Medical Services Coordinator, responsible for providing professional nursing care to residents and/or inmates within the scope of administrative guidelines and in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Duties require knowledge of nursing equivalent to completion of an Associate’s degree in Nursing and one to three years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the State of New Hampshire.

Maplewood Nursing Home

Physical Therapist

Under the direction of the Director of Physical Therapy, responsible for evaluating and treating residents in accordance with facility, state, and federal standards, rules, and regulations.

Duties require knowledge of physical therapy equivalent to completion of a Master’s degree and three to five years of related experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be certified in CPR.

Maintains New Hampshire Physical Therapy license and is responsible to assure continuing education requirements meet board regulations.

Staff LPN - Various Shifts

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager or RN Supervisor, responsible for performing clinical and administrative duties on assigned floor.

Supports the Nurse Manager or RN Supervisor in maintaining standards of resident care and maintaining policies and protocols to meet OBRA regulations for long term care.

Duties require knowledge of nursing equivalent to completion of an applicable Nursing Program.

Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the State of New Hampshire.

Must be thoroughly oriented to all facility policies and agree to comply with all facility policies.

Must attend mandatory in-services and retain registration with the State of New Hampshire.

Staff Occupational Therapist

Under the direction of the Director of Occupational Therapy, responsible for providing direct occupational therapy services to skilled and long-term care residents to facilitate rehabilitation in accordance with governmental, state, and facility practices and standards.

Duties require knowledge of occupational therapy equivalent to completion of a Master’s degree and three to five years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

New Hampshire Board of Registration in Medicine license to practice OT required.

Laundry Aide - Part Time - Weekends

Under the supervision of the Assistant Laundry Supervisor, responsible for the washing and folding of laundry, ensuring that clean linens and personal clothing are delivered.

Duties require knowledge equivalent to completion of one to two years of high school. Proficiency to become competent in the essential responsibilities takes up to three months.

Housekeeper - Part Time - Weekends

Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, responsible for performing a wide range of cleaning duties in all areas of the Nursing Home, using specialized housekeeping equipment and chemicals in order to maintain a clean, safe, and aseptic environment for residents, staff, and the public.


Sheriff's Department

Police Communications Specialist - Full Time, Part Time and On Call

Under the supervision of the Police Communications Supervisor, responsible for manning the Cheshire County public safety communication center, including responding to a wide variety of normal and emergency calls and performing appropriate record keeping, filing, and report preparation.

Duties require knowledge of radio transmission or computer skills equivalent to completion of a high school diploma plus additional courses from a two year college or technical school and three to five years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to remain calm, effective, and accurate while receiving and relaying highly stressful emergency situations on the telephone or by radio.
