Cheshire County is proud to announce that it has received national recognition alongside its project partner, Energy Efficient Investments, Inc. (EEI), through the National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO) 2025 Keystone Award.
The award honors the success of the Cheshire County Energy Project, a comprehensive effort to modernize and improve the efficiency of five major county facilities while reducing long-term operating costs. This recognition highlights the County’s thoughtful and pragmatic approach to facility management, balancing innovation with fiscal responsibility and a strong commitment to serving residents effectively. The project, developed in close collaboration with EEI, demonstrates how strategic partnerships can strengthen infrastructure, enhance reliability, and deliver measurable savings for taxpayers. Cheshire County Commissioners Chair Terry Clark traveled with EEI representatives to accept the award on behalf of the County, reflecting Cheshire County’s leadership in responsible governance and results-driven investment in public facilities.
