Maplewood Nursing Home is looking for an individual to join our Dietary Team. Experienced or just learning we train and work together to prepare food according to instructions while adhering to safe and health standards. Uses strong attention to detail for all meal preparation to ensure patients receive appropriate food and nutritional needs. While working along side other dietary co-workers, one will also communicate effectively with nursing staff to ensure the best for our residents.

Positions open:

(1) Full Time – 8:00am – 4:00pm, 40 hours a week including every other weekend

Pay rate: $16.88

Shift differential: $2.25 / Weekend Differential: $1.75

The Dietary Aide is responsible for providing assistance with the preparation, set-up, and serving of scheduled meals.

Duties include:
-Obtaining food and supplies as instructed.
-Performing cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining room; gathering dirty dishes from the resident floors; scraping dishes, loading dishwashing machine; and putting away clean dishes.

-Ensuring a sanitized and clean environment.
-Working on the tray line; cutting up breakfast tickets.
-Assisting with serving meals and loading food.
-Assisting with setting up dining room, including setting up juices, butters, desserts, and breakfast and lunch specials for the following day.
