Responsible for providing clinical case management services to criminal justice involved individuals diagnosed with a substance use disorder, co-occurring disorder and/or severe and persistent mental health disorder. Provides clients with the tools they need through in-person case management meetings, strength-based counseling, rehabilitative programming and other needed referrals in order for them to lead a productive, law-abiding life style. The clinical case manager also provides verbal and written reports to the courts and collaborates with treatment providers, family members, judicial services and other community providers.
Skills/Experience Required:
Knowledge and experience with individuals suffering from severe and persistent mental illness, co-occurring disorders and substance use disorders. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Must have equivalent to completion of a Master’s degree and three to five years of related work experience in these fields or equivalent combination of education and experience. MLADC and/or LICSW required or working toward licensure. Knowledge of the judicial and corrections systems preferred.
