CHESHIRE COUNTY EMS – DEPUTY CHIEF

The Cheshire County Emergency Medical Services (CCEMS) is hiring for a full-time Deputy Chief; under the direction of the Chief, this salaried position will be responsible for the provision of emergency medical care in compliance with the laws of the State of New Hampshire.  This is a leadership position that includes the ability to function as a critical thinker in both non-emergency and emergency situations with decorum.  This position will hold responsibility for the daily operations as well as having the ability to work as a field paramedic when necessary.

Candidates should possess licensure by the State of NH as well as national certification as a Paramedic or ability to attain within 3 months; at least twelve (12) years of Paramedic experience, AAS required or Bachelors’ degree preferred in appropriate field of study; five (5) years of progressive supervisory experience preferred.
