Maplewood Nursing Home Dietary Aides - Various Full and Part Time Shifts Available Under the supervision of the Food Services Director, responsible for providing assistance with the preparation, set-up, and serving of scheduled meals. Obtains food and supplies as instructed. Performs cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining room; gathers dirty dishes from the resident floors; scrapes dishes, loads dishwashing machine; and puts away clean dishes. May manually wash and sanitize pots & pans. Ensures a sanitized and clean environment. Serves meals in resident dining rooms, cooks small items such as eggs & grilled cheese in dining rooms. Assists in loading food and supplies for meals. Assists in setting up dining room, including setting up desserts, breakfast and lunch specials and snacks. Assists in serving staff in the dining room. Assists in the kitchen, preparing the salad bar, filling and/or draining the steam table, preparing for breakfast, and making sandwiches. Delivers steam tables & equipment /supply carts to resident dining rooms in preparation for meals, and making sandwiches. Duties require knowledge equivalent to completion of one to two years of high school. Proficiency to become competent in the essential responsibilities takes up to three months. Prior experience and training in Dietary activities desirable.
Licensed Nursing Assistant - Full Time/Various Shifts Under the supervision of the LPN Charge Nurse or Staff Nurse, provides basic resident care and assists in the maintenance of the unit environment.Follows facility policies and procedures and the standards of the Nurse Practice Act of New Hampshire. Duties require knowledge of nursing assistance equivalent to completion of a high school diploma plus additional courses and up to one year of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must be registered as a Licensed Nurse Assistant by the State of New Hampshire. Physical Therapist Under the direction of the Director of Physical Therapy, responsible for evaluating and treating residents in accordance with facility, state, and federal standards, rules, and regulations. Duties require knowledge of physical therapy equivalent to completion of a Masters degree and three to five years of related experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be certified in CPR. Maintains New Hampshire Physical Therapy license and is responsible to assure continuing education requirements meet board regulations. Staff LPN - Various Shifts Under the direction of the Nurse Manager or RN Supervisor, responsible for performing clinical and administrative duties on assigned floor.Supports the Nurse Manager or RN Supervisor in maintaining standards of resident care and maintaining policies and protocols to meet OBRA regulations for long term care. Duties require knowledge of nursing equivalent to completion of an applicable Nursing Program. Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the State of New Hampshire. Must be thoroughly oriented to all facility policies and agree to comply with all facility policies. Must attend mandatory in-services and retain registration with the State of New Hampshire. Sheriff's Department Police Communications Specialist - Full Time, Part Time and On Call Under the supervision of the Police Communications Supervisor, responsible for manning the Cheshire County public safety communication center, including responding to a wide variety of normal and emergency calls and performing appropriate record keeping, filing, and report preparation. Duties require knowledge of radio transmission or computer skills equivalent to completion of a high school diploma plus additional courses from a two year college or technical school and three to five years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to remain calm, effective, and accurate while receiving and relaying highly stressful emergency situations on the telephone or by radio.
