All New Hampshire residents ages 6 months and older are now eligible to receive the H1N1 vaccine under the NH DHHS H1N1 distribution plan.
The Greater Monadnock Public Health Network (GMPHN) will be holding a series of free public H1N1 vaccine clinics throughout the greater Monadnock region in the following weeks. People who have not yet received the vaccine are encouraged to come to a free clinic to be immunized. The GMPHN reminds parents of children less than 10 years of age that their child will need a booster H1N1 vaccine 28 days after receiving the first dose (to clarify: if a child is 9 years or younger, s/he needs 2 doses of H1N1 vaccine 28 days apart. If a child is 10 years and up, s/he only needs 1 dose).
Clinics sponsored by the GMPHN are entirely free; there is no need to bring payment or insurance information. Pre-registration is not required; vaccines will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis. This schedule will be updated and additional press releases will be sent out if other clinics are added to the schedule.
